Google Buzz on the Iphone is pretty darn good

You have heard all the Buzz I am sure but maybe have not had the pleasure of using Google Buzz. buzz allows a Google user to follow other users or companies link in Twitter or Bright Kite. There are some differences that make Buzz stand out, like the ability to ingest Twitter and other web 2.0 content and present it in a unified way. Buzz also allows pictures to be embedded with out a third party which is nice with all the phishing going on these days. Its nice to know the content you are consuming is coming from a domain with a good reputation.

In the grand scheme of things, geologists say this is just Mother Nature as usual

Chile is on a hotspot of sorts for earthquake activity. And so the 8.8-magnitude temblor that shook the capital region overnight was not a surprise, historically speaking. Nor was it outside the realm of normal, scientists say, even though it comes on the heels of other major earthquakes.

One scientist, however, says that relative to a time period in the past, the Earth has been more active over the past 15 years or so.

What type of processor is in the Apple iPad?

There's a lot of speculation about what's inside the A4, Apple's custom and ultra-power-efficient chip that powers the iPad. Nobody knows for sure because, like all their products, it's a seeeeeecret. Until now.According to Jon Stokes' well-trusted sources, there is no Cortex A9 dual-core inside Apple's A4, but just a single Cortex A8 and a PowerVR SGX GPU. According to Jon, it's probable that Apple has taken out a lot of the communication, image, and video blocks that the Cortex A8 uses, making it an extremely lean and efficient processor.

Why flash on the iPhone or iPad will be tough to implement

Flash on the iPad/iPhone will never happen, right, and the reasons have run the gamut from "Apple vendetta" to "Flash is an energy and resource hog." Is the real, mind-numbingly simple explanation all about touch, mouse cursors and hovering? Possibly!

That's what a real, live Adobe Flash developer is saying this weekend, and I have to admit his simple "hover/mouseover" argument makes a lot of sense.

Collaboration moving to the forefront in the Enterprise

Many of you may recall how, in the mid- to late-1990s, email was considered “a toy” in many companies. Technology was still evolving, the prominence of the Internet was still coalescing, and server-based email solutions such as Microsoft Exchange were still in their infancy. Consider the ever-present and even addictive nature of email today, and we find many organizations where email has become mission critical.
